Rachel Williams is a senior student journalist at Ithaca College. She possesses experience in writing, editing, audio, and visual production. Her interest in journalism lies in the ability to tell individual’s stories and fit them into larger narratives.

 

She has covered a diverse range of subjects ranging from music and community events to racism within Ithaca College’s campus. In 2020, she filmed and edited a documentary on COVID-19’s impact on the Ithaca College’s music scene during lockdown. 

 

Approaching each piece as both a duty to report truth and a personal educational adventure, Rachel is graduating in 2024 with a major in journalism and a minor in sociology. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, learning bass guitar, and caring for her chickens.
